l4 spiritual gifts class
January 15 - February 12, 2020 6:00 PM $15 RM 211 Led by Ann Birdsong
This 5 week class is designed for the newcomer in mind, but is also a refresher for those who are trying to connect with the individual purpose God has for you in this particular season of your life. Ask yourself, are you ready to make this church more than a destination place on Sunday, but instead our source center to love God and love others as our Lord taught us in Mark 12:30-31? Jesus lived life with His disciples and taught through actions as well as words.
The L4 Class brings us back to the basics of what it means to be a disciple. We will learn about the Person of God, the Nature of God and Who the Son of God is. Listen and identify obstacles to hearing God's voice and learn the things that help us hear. Lead through servant-hood by understanding the honor, the nature and the rewards of serving. A study and test will be given to identify your individual spiritual gifts by learning where your sweet spot is in service by looking at your gifts, passion, and life experience. It is through service that you will not only give love but also receive love. SERVICE = GREATNESS IN THE KINGDOM.
Beyond the broken heart
March 4 - April 29, 2020 5:45 - 7:15 PM $25 RM 213 Led by Rev. Janet Davis

Through the reading and group activities you will find comfort, guidance, and spiritual support on your journey through grief. If you have been grieving for 3 months or longer this class if for you. If you have lost someone with the past three months, please contact me.
